It’s that time of year! The leaves are starting to fall and it is getting colder. I made my first pumpkin smoothie of the year. I love pumpkin! I used an organic pumpkin puree for this recipe. You can use fresh pumpkin, but it isn’t going to be as flavorful as pumpkin puree. You can also make your own puree at home. This low calorie smoothie is a great alternative to high calorie pumpkin lattes.
Adding tea to your smoothie is a great way to boost the flavor without adding additional calories.
What is in your blender?
Pumpkin Chai Green Smoothie

1 banana, peeled
2 cups baby spinach
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
dash of nutmeg
8 ounces of cooled chai tea
